Small charity Headway Cardiff and South Wales is set to expand services in Newport.
The charity, stationed at University Hospital Llandough, provides support for individuals in South Wales who've suffered brain injuries due to accident or illness.
Its goal is to help people adjust to changes in their lives and to maximise independence, wellbeing, and quality of life.
As a part of its expansion, the charity is opening an Independence and Wellbeing Centre session at the High Cross Community Hall, Newport, every Thursday.
The charity seeks enthusiastic, caring volunteers to assist with socialising, engaging with service users, facilitating activities, and helping out with practical tasks.
Volunteering roles are between 10am and 3.30pm every Thursday.
For further information or to express interest email volunteers@headwaycardiff.org.uk or visit the charity's website.
