BACK row forward Ben Moa has signed for Plymouth Albion after leaving Pontypool.
The 21-year-old, who came through the Dragons academy, will head to play in National League One with the Devon side.
Moa spent last season with Pooler in the Premiership, making 21 appearances and scoring two tries, after being released by the Dragons.
He said: “I’m really excited to be signing for Plymouth. It’s a whole new challenge for me with a club with a lot of history behind them, so I’m really looking forward to starting and meeting up with the boys.”
The former Wales Under-20s international will be reunited with ex-Dragons prop and age-grade coach Aaron Jarvis, who is in charge of the pack in Plymouth.
“Ben is a young man I know well from my time in Wales. He’s an exceptionally talented rugby player and an explosive ball carrier,” said Jarvis.
“He’ll definitely add huge value to the Plymouth Albion pack this year and I’m really looking forward to getting him involved with the boys.”
