1,420 homes were without power in Cefn Hengoed this morning.

The power cut happened at around 8.50am but power was restored by 9am.  A spokeswoman for Western Power Distribution said they are still investigating the cause of the fault and would like to apologise to customers.


Pair chase thief from Cardiff Road shop
