Miles of bloody tail backs due to the idiots being there in peak rush hour closing one lane, on a road that is a nitemare every morning without that! Sat in it for45 mins then when I got to the actual part where they wer supossidly carrying out the survey they were all stood around having a chat and drinking coffee!! Comes to something when you hace to sit in that utter crap just to get to work. Bloody idiots!

I almost scored my hat trick yesterday on Heidenheim Drive driving home in the gorgeous sunshine. I was delayed in the queue for ages as we were funneled into a single lane (No indication as you waited what the hold up was for but I should have guessed) but when I came to the survey point I wasn't selected. However 'they' now seem to be using hand held devices as opposed to the large, bi lingual post back forms two of which I have had previously - SDR and Maesglas - wonder who is in charge of this carry on? Wouldn't mind hearing what he/she has to say about these arrangements in the Argus ...

True nightmare this am trying to get kids to school with this" Cenus" going on.... After eventually getting kids to school( after a Argos lorry got stuck in Pentre Tai lane stopped to get directions to a house and then blocked the road with no house in sight to unload his lorry!!!!) I approached Pyle corner to get to Tredegar park unable to get into the left lane to join the right and a sign displayed right lane was closed.... Some lovely drivers would not let me get in ( not through want of trying) so continued up right lane- no traffic to find lane was not closed and no sign of any Venus people in sight( thankfully)!loved the sign I also passed stating that if approach please stop to complete census!!!!! Yes as if!!!!! I am sure most of us had things to do this am..... And stopping to complete a census was the last thing on my blinking mind!!!!! Get a grip!!!!!

Traffic lights also set up to stop traffic right by J27 at High Cross! As if it wasn't already a complete nightmare trying to get out of High Cross and Rogerstone every morning. Top and bottom roads blocked by census and a couple of accidents to boot. I don't think any common sense or planning was involved here!
