TWO people were checked over by doctors after a crash in Newport this afternoon.

Malpas and Maindee fire fighters went to the scene of the three-car smash on Chepstow Road, near Beechwood Park, at 3.55pm this afternoon.

One of the three cars had already gone, said a spokesman for South Wales Fire and Rescue Service.

One person was given a precautionary check by a doctor while another person was checked by a paramedic but there did not appear to be any serious injuries, he said.

Fire fighters left the scene at 4.12pm. Buses are being diverted around the area.

It was a pretty bad smash. The individuals involved were very lucky. I know that you'd prefer the Argus to tailor every paper to your individual needs, but life just isn't like that. All the Argus are doing is reporting a local news incident. If you don't like it you can always go back to your colouring books and Daily Sport.

My name is cymruamblyth and I am 13 and 3 quarters.

I see you keep getting banned from forums but it's unclear why, as you do the right things such as suck up to the moderators and PC brigades while at the same time attempt to bully and undermine anyone who disagrees with these people. Like you I also find it difficult to maintain a consistent argument which means I have to lie and dismiss any previous statements posted by myself in order to come out on top. I always do but like your I just can never completely close an argument.. my highly entertaining posts keep getting removed..

Are you capable off typing over three words or you some sort of Argus Web Spider?
