Ernest Edward Smith-Jaynes (Ernie) of St. Julian’s, Newport. Sadly passed away at the Royal Gwent Hospital on 16th August 2016 aged 93 years. Beloved husband of the late Teresa and adored by all his family. A Service of Celebration for Ernest’s life will take place on Wednesday 7th September at 12 noon at St. Basil’s Church, Bassaleg, Newport, NP10 8ND followed by interment at St. Woolos Cemetery, Newport.
