DAVIES Peacefully on September 3rd 2017 in the comfort and tender loving care at his home, Douglas Richard of Brynamlwg Road, Talywain, formerly retired Mayor of Torfaen Council and dearly devoted husband of Ann also retired Mayoress of Torfaen Council. Dearly and adored cherished dad of Giles, Mandy and father-in-law of Karl and dearly loved bamp of Tom, Laura and Grace and respected friend of the community. Funeral will take place on Tuesday September 19th. Family prayers at his home at 10.45am leaving his home he cherished so much for a service and cremation at the Gwent Crematorium where friends are asked to meet at 11.30am.
