JOHN Basil Charles On March 13th at Ystrad Mynach Hospital, after a short illness, Basil, aged 84 years, much loved husband of Carol, father of Peter, Catherine and Stephen and grandfather of Hannah, James, Rebecca, Jessica, Gabriel, Jacob and William. Funeral Tuesday March 20th service at St Michael's Church, Lower Machen at 2.45pm followed by interment in the churchyard. Donations in lieu of flowers payable to Ty Hafan or Mencap Cymru may be sent c/o Tovey Bros. 9/11 Cardiff Road, Newport, NP20 2EH www.toveybros.co.uk
