CORDING On 5th July 2012 at the Royal Gwent Hospital, Alan Charles, aged 85 years of Newport. Beloved husband of the late Sheila, devoted father of Alan and Lorraine, father-in-law of Sara and loved grandfather of Gemma. Funeral Thursday 26th July, service at St. Phillips Church, Jenkins Street, Newport at 10.00am followed by committal at the Gwent Crematorium 11.00am. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to St. David's Foundation, Blackett Avenue, Newport. NP20 6NH. Further enquiries to Lyndon Bassett (Funeral Service), Newport. Tel: 278329.
