Woman grabbed in Cwmbran street
POLICE have released this efit and are appealing for information following an assault in Cwmbran.
APPEAL: Police have released this e-fit picture of the man they want to speak to
A man approached a 21- year-old woman as she walked from Station Road towards Penyparc in the early hours of Sunday and attempted to speak to her before grabbing her by the hair.
When disturbed by a passer-by the man ran off towards Chapel Street, Pontnewydd.
The woman was not injured.
The offender is described as being of Asian appearance, in his late thirties, of a short stocky build and with black spiky hair.
He had dark-coloured eyes and facial stubble. He was wearing an orange shortsleeved T-shirt, dark blue jeans, and a gold chain around his neck.
If anyone recognises the man pictured in the e-fit or has any information relating to this incident they are asked to call Gwent Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
