Award-winning car parts distributor Fast Parts Wales, has opened up a new branch in Tredegar.
The 8,800 sq ft branch in Crown Business Park will be the third branch in the Fast Parts network and sees 14 new staff, inlcuding van drivers, warehouse staff and sales representatives.
The new branch means Fast Parts will be able to expand its coverage of deliveries to independent garages and also offer an enhanced service to existing customers in Tredegar and surrounding areas of Merthyr Tydfill and Abergavenny.
Fast Parts Wales Ltd started trading more than 25 years ago. It has two sites, in Abercarn and Cwmban.
Nathan Travis, Fast Parts Wales general manager, said: “The automotive industry for car parts supply is extremely competitive but through our philosophy of continued investment, we have bucked the trend and been able to add the new branch and create career opportunities.
“We have some big plans to grow in Tredegar and with the support of suppliers and customers, we will continue to re-invest back into the business to ensure the needs of Fast Parts Wales customers, staff and the local community are met.”
