Newport-based HardingEvans Solicitors is celebrating the news that its application to become a member of the Law Society’s Wills and Inheritance Quality Scheme has been successful.

Going forward, HardingEvans will use this accreditation to help prospective clients make a confident and informed choice about their legal practitioner.

The WIQS provides a best practice quality mark for wills and estate administration advice that consumers can trust. The scheme is designed for practices that are authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and offer both wills and probate/estate administration advice.

To gain accreditation HardingEvans demonstrated their compliance with the Wills and Inheritance Protocol that sets client service standards to ensure transparency in process, costs and communications.

Paul Lindsey, head of Trusts and Estates, from HardingEvans said: “We are very pleased to have been accepted for the Law Society’s Wills and Inheritance Quality Scheme, having worked hard to ensure that all our practices meet the Law Society’s exacting standards.

“We are now able to demonstrate that we conform to a best practice quality mark that prospective clients can trust and we also hope that the accreditation will help win us more business and increase client satisfaction.”
