GWENT serviced office business Basepoint has renewed its commitment to help support St David’s Hospice Care in 2015.
The Chepstow-based business centre ended 2014 as it plans to go on by gathering businesses based at the centre for a fund raising festive fair.
Tania Ansell, of St David’s Hospice Care, said the pop-up Christmas fair at Basepoint resulted in £312 being donated to the charity.
She said: “Basepoint Chepstow has been a strong supporter of St David’s Hospice Care throughout 2014. Through attendance at events and match-funding the team has donated a staggering amount of £10,000, which has helped so many patients and their families locally.
“Basepoint has a real passion to help the local community and give something back to those in need. It has a great working ethos and really do rally around to help the cause.”
Over the last 12 months Basepoint has provided match-funding to hospice events such as The Big Bike Ride, Monmouth Raft Race, Twilight Memory Walk, Severn Bridge Fancy Dress Walk and others.
