Cwmbran’s newest gym, Simply Gym, has opened for business.

Located at the Leisure@Cwmbran centre, the site is Simply Gym’s third club.

The club features web-enabled machines, a full range of treadmills, bikes, cross trainers and step machines, stretch areas and a large “synrgy” rig for functional training and variety.

Rhys Jenkins, general manager of Simply Gym Cwmbran, said: “This is excellent news for Cwmbran as our new club will bring high quality health and fitness at a flexible and affordable price. Those in the community who couldn’t afford to commit to membership in the past will now be able to make the most of our excellent facilities. We are also delighted to bring new jobs to the community and have created a total of 12 jobs so far.”

Simply Gym Cwmbran will be open seven days a week early to late, is fitted with quality lockers and changing facilities and is surrounded by free parking so access couldn’t be easier.

The club also features a “Soundjack” music system, which enables members to choose the playlist and decide what music is played.

Membership includes a free personal training session on joining where a qualified gym instructor will help you develop a personal programme to make sure you achieve your goals.

Simply Gym Cwmbran is run by Bay Leisure Ltd, a Welsh not-for-profit company which owns and operates a further two Simply Gyms in Swansea. Bay Leisure also owns and operates Simply Play, a children’s indoor play and party centre, on the same site as Simply Gym in Gorseinon, Swansea.
