A Newport-based specialist joinery manufacturing company has been recognised for its outstanding supplier commitment in the BAM Construction Ltd Annual Supply Chain Awards 2016.

Established in 1995, Limebright Ltd employs 40 staff based in East Bank Road on the Felnex Industrial Estate.

In recognition of its outstanding commitment within the Western region during 2015, BAM Construction’s regional supply chain and procurement manager Keith Treharne said: “Although there were several strong candidates, Limebright Ltd was a very popular choice.

"Its FSC accreditation, full co-operation, helps us achieve our own targets regarding the use of FSC timber on all sites. The firm regularly helps with design, as well as supporting many projects with prompt delivery.”

Some of the projects Limebright has been involved with BAM Construction on include Ystrad Mynach Hospital, Imperial Tobacco and it is currently working on the Gaer School and The Tate Gallery refurbishment in St Ives.

Accepting the award was managing director Steve Bowman, who is delighted to be recognised for the company's hard work, said that none of recognition would have been possible without the support and guidance received from BAM Construction.

He said it was also down to 'the fully committed hard work of our entire workforce'.
