Friars Walk, Newport’s shopping and leisure destination has announced a six-month partnership with Lookers Motor Group.

Lookers will be showcasing a range of cars at the centre including Citroen, Peugeot, Jeep and Alfa Romeo.

The cars will be located at different locations in the coming months including the mall, John Frost Square and Usk Plaza.

This is the first partnership with a local car dealership that Friars Walk has been involved with since the opening of the centre last year.

Simon Pullen, centre director for Friars Walk, said: “We are really pleased and excited to announce this partnership with Lookers who are based locally. Lookers have a great range of vehicles and we are pleased they have come on board for the next few months.’

Friars Walk opened on November 12, 2015 and is home to 26 stores including Debenhams, Next, New Look, Top Shop, River Island and H&M. The scheme has 12 family restaurants, an eight-screen Cineworld Cinema, and a 12-lane state-of-the-art Superbowl, including Laser Quest and Crazy Club. There is also a 350-space car park.
