Day care nursery Little Inspirations has bought new premises in Newport after securing a six-figure finance package from HSBC.

The owners of the nursery secured the commercial mortgage to buy new premises, helping to expand the business.

The new 3,100 sq ft premises in Newport offers a baby, toddler and pre-school room, as well as a newly-refurbished secure garden and on-site catering facilities.

Founded in 2003, the award-winning day care business operates four other nurseries in sites across the region, including Llantrisant, Rhydyfelin and Barry.

The new premises in Newport, previously owned by Buzzy Bees Nursery, will have a total intake of up to 59 children who will be looked after by 13 childcare professionals.

Jenine Gill, managing director of Little Inspirations, said: “We take great pride in being able to offer the best day care for children that we can and are passionate about growing our business. The process of securing the mortgage was very smooth and Ieuan Lloyd, our relationship manager, was supportive and helpful, keeping us keep up to date with progress at every stage.”

Stephen Yorke, HSBC’s area director for South Wales, said: “HSBC is dedicated to helping small businesses across South Wales grow, so we are proud to see Little Inspirations taking the next step in their ambitious expansion strategy and we hope to support them again in future endeavours.”

Little Inspirations celebrates its 15th birthday this year and has plans to open two more nurseries in the spring.
