Welsh ports and airports need boost – Monmouth AM

MORE need to be done to capitalise on Welsh ports and airports as a means of boosting the economy, according to a committee chaired by Monmouth AM Nick Ramsay.

An inquiry by the enterprise and business committee found Welsh Ministers could play a role in supporting infrastructure to enable Welsh ports and airports to prosper.

It recommended that the Welsh Government support measures to increase Wales' share of the cruise tourism market and called for ministers to form a plan to develop air transport in Wales.

It said the Welsh Government should press Cardiff Airport managers to invest in its development.

You cant be real --Infrastructure-- tourism -- you can't even get a two carriage train running in Monmouthshire entering it's own main City.
