A DEVELOPER is looking for descendants of the Lysaght family and former employees at The Orb Works Newport to help shed light on an old photograph.

Taylor Wimpey is trying to find people connected to the site after a photograph, thought to be from the early 1970s, was found in the company archives.

It shows Mrs G Lysaght, Mrs P Stead, Mrs Les Talbot, Ron Gardener, Philip Stead (manager primary process), Jim Vinsen (chief engineer), Don Rees (mechanical engineer), George Short (general manager), Les Talbot, Keith Duncan (annealing manager), Ian McDonald and Ted Hiscocks.

They are planting a commemorative tree outside the Lysaght Institute.

Anyone who has more information about the picture or links with The Orb who can provide more details is asked to email lysaght@htpr.co.uk or call Vicky Coyle on 0121 355 3446.
