Peter Moon, Moon and Co, Bank Street, Chepstow, chats to Property Focus about enjoying life, walking his dog and Donald Trump

1. Who are you?

I'm Peter Moon. I work for myself. I'm the principal at Moon and Co in Chepstow, which I've run for the last 18 years, although I've had 37 years in the business.

2. How did you get into this line of work?

I did a Youth Training Scheme after leaving school.

3. What sort of properties does your business usually sell?

It is mainly residential throughout south east Monmouthshire

4. What’s in your car CD player at the moment?

On the iPod in the car is Michael Mandal's 'I Don’t Know'

5. What motivates you?

Enjoying life

6. And what irritates you?

Pessimism

7. What do you think the property scene in the area is like at the moment and how would you change it if you could?

It is very, very buoyant. I would like to see better infrastructure though, such as roads, schools etc.

8. Last film you saw and what did you think?

Behind the Candelabra. It's the story of the last ten years in the life of pianist Liberace. I found it bitter sweet.

9. If you weren’t doing this, what would you be doing?

Walking my dog.

10. Who is your hero?

Sir Tim Berners-Lee, the man who invented the world wide web in 1989.

11. What one tip would you give someone trying to sell their property?

I would say that presentation is very important.

12. And what one tip would you give someone looking to buy in the area?

Use an experienced agent

13. If you could sell any property in the world to anyone, what property would it be and who would it be to?

I'd have to say Alcatraz to Donald Trump! I think it would be a good location for him!

14. Three words which sum up why buying in this area is a great idea…

'Friendly' town, so very 'handy' for commuters and in such a 'beautiful' location.
