Who are you and what do you do?

I'm Nicola Foxton. I've been the manager of the Usk branch of Roberts for the last three years. I'm also the client manager for our Town & Country Collection brand

How did you get into this line of work?

Eighteen years ago I was in the pub with my friend when she recommended I try estate agency - I haven’t looked back since!

What sort of properties does your business usually sell?

The majority are higher end, semi-rural country residences with land.

What’s in your car CD/Ipod player at the moment?

A highly eclectic mix

What motivates you?

The end goal

And what irritates you?

Laziness

What do you think the property scene in the area is like at the moment?

Great! I love to be able to beat the seasonal aspect of estate agency. People want to move home all year yet so many of us wait for the sunshine.

Last film you saw and what did you think?

Allied. It's a good film which I highly recommend and there is the bonus of Brad Pitt

If you weren’t doing this, what would you be doing?

Interior design, which I previously studied

Who is your hero?

So many, I admire anyone who remains focused and positive despite adversity.

What one tip would you give someone trying to sell their property?

I would have to say de clutter!

And what one tip would you give someone looking to buy in the area?

Look at the area on Google maps.

If you could sell any property in the world to anyone, what property would it be and who would it be to?

Any Mediterranean coastal property to me!
