TICKETS go on sale to see one of the UK’s top comedians Michael McIntyre at Monmouth’s Savoy Theatre for one day only tomorrow.
He will perform two intimate ‘warm-up gigs’ on Friday and Saturday, June 8 and 9.
Tickets cost £25 and will be available to personal callers at the theatre in Church Street from 10am tomorrow.
The star of BBC One’s Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow and last year’s Britain’s Got Talent, he performs in Monmouth ahead of his UK Work in Progress tour. On the tour McIntyre will be trying out new material prior to his third UK arena tour. A major draw, his Live & Laughing and Hello Wembley shows have sold over 2.5m DVDs and a third stand-up DVD of the arena tour will be available in mid November 2012. The performances at The Savoy Theatre will both take place at 8pm.
All profits go to the Monmouth Festival to help raise funds for this year’s event which takes place between August 17 and 25.
