MUSIC lovers have a great chance to hear talented young classical guitarist Rossini Bartolotti-Hayward at Llanhennock Village Hall on Saturday, April 25.

Bartolotti-Hayward who comes from Newport is currently a third year undergraduate at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff.

He recently returned from a five-month placement in El Instituto Superior del Arte in Havana, Cuba where he studied under some of the best teachers of classical guitar in Latin America.

In 2006 he won a place at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama with a major scholarship.

Awarded the John Mills Guitar Prize for the past two consecutive years, he currently sings bass in the BBC National Chorus of Wales.

He also plays in the Klezmer Kollectiv, a group of musicians which perform traditional eastern European gypsy folk music.

There will be a bar and doors will open at 7.30pm, with the performance starting at 8.15pm.
