THE 1960s pop music scene was dominated by British groups, three of which became household names in The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and Herman’s Hermits.
From their beginning in Manchester in 1964, Herman’s Hermits has chalked up over 23 top 20 single records, ten hit albums, three movies – and to date they have total record sales of over 75 million.
With classics such as Mrs Brown You’ve Got A Lovely Daughter, Silhouettes, Dandy, There’s A Kind Of Hush, No Milk Today, Something’s Happening, Sunshine Girl, and many more too numerous to mention, Herman’s Hermits are still Into Something Good!
Herman’s Hermits will be at the Blackwood Miners’ Institute on Saturday, May 26 at 7.30pm.
Tickets are £17.50 (£16.50 concessions) and are available at www.blackwoodminersinstitute.com or call the box office on 01495 227206.
