RSVP to launch Newport Big Splash with dance-off

Soundwave stars RSVP will launch Big Splash 2012
NEWPORT’S Big Splash festival kicks off on Friday, July 13, with a giant Bhangra dance off with hundreds of local dancers following the same routine.
This routine can be learnt before the event by watching the video online (https://vimeo.com/44018853) and everyone is invited to join in on the night.
The dance will be set to music created by the band RSVP, who mix Asian melodies and thumping bass lines.
It’s set to be a very fun and unique way to kick off a weekend full of entertainment.
It starts in the centre of Newport on the Admiral Soundwave Stage at 6pm. Final arrangements for the Sunset Spectacular are also being completed with musicians and circus performers being booked.
