Devon might be a bit light on big game but treat the family to a break in one of Crealy Meadows’ brand new safari tents and you’ll enjoy the charm of African outdoor living without leaving the country!
Inspired by the safari experience these stylish tents offer more glamour and comfort than you would ever expect to find under canvas.
They come fully furnished for a family of six with pine beds, a well-equipped kitchen unit and a full-size wood burning range style cooker as well as tables, chairs and even a sofa bed so you can accommodate two extra guests.
The kids will love the fully enclosed pine ‘cabin bed’ where they can cosy up inside and close the door.
And when the sun shines there’s a wide wooden verandah where you can relax and enjoy outdoor living to the full.
What’s more, Crealy Meadows is right next door to Devon’s Crealy Great Adventure Park and guests can enjoy unlimited access to one of the most popular attractions in the South West.
“We can’t offer the African savannah,” says Crealy, “but our award winning Adventure Park is home to all sorts of cute and cuddly creatures as well as farm animals, meerkats, wallabies and their babies and a Wilderness Wildlife Adventure area where wild deer roam free.”
To add to the animal experience, book a break at Crealy Meadows and kids can enjoy the chance to walk, groom and feed their ‘own’ miniature Shetland or Dartmoor pony during their holiday. The ‘Own a Pony’ experience is free of charge if you’re staying for more than five days.
Safari Tents start at £200 for a three night weekend break for up to eight people in spring or early summer – or bring your own tent, caravan or motorhome to Crealy Meadows from just £17.50 per night. Discounts are available for Crealy Members making it a great place to stay for regular visitors.
