It might only be a couple of weeks since we were enjoying half-term, but it seems more of us than ever are already planning ahead to map out next year’s holidays.

According to Eurocamp, an early bird booking boom has seen Brits rushing to reserve their 2016 break.

A combination of great-priced flights – the major budget airlines have surprised travellers by releasing their all-important summer seats ahead of schedule – and amazing holiday prices are fuelling the rush.

Eurocamp has already seen a 400 per cent rise in bookings for its premium Aspect and Avant accommodation types, which combine the best home comforts and modern conveniences with larger than usual outside space and decking.

With more than 180 parcs across Europe, Eurocamp’s head of marketing Chris Hilton said: “We all love planning ahead for holidays – to get the best deals and enjoy some pre-holiday anticipation – but this year we’re seeing more of a boom than ever.

“The budget airlines have released many of their summer flights much earlier than usual and that, coupled with our fantastic early booking prices has prompted people to reserve much further in advance.

“Our Aspect and Avant accommodation types have always been extremely popular but even so, we are delighted at the speed at which they’ve been snapped up."
