UK hotel chain Travelodge is to expand into Spain, opening 100 hotels and creating 2,000 new jobs by 2020, in a £700 million programme.
Travelodge will initially target cities including Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia. The expansion follows the successful piloting of three hotels - two in Madrid and one in Barcelona.
