Later this month, Newport based performance artist Gareth Clark will take to the stage of Cardiff’s Chapter Arts Centre to share the deepest and darkest parts of his soul in a revealing piece of solo performance theatre.

A familiar face on stages across South Wales, Gareth is best known for his performances with Marega Palser as Mr and Mrs Clark.

This new, solo performance, directed by Directed by Agnieszka Blonska, tells Gareth’s life story focusing on the early childhood memories that unearth the fears of a middle-aged man plagued by news of IS attacks, Edward Snowden’s revelations and a growing concern about bladder control.

Written and devised by Gareth, (F.E.A.R.) was originally performed at Chapter Arts Centre during Experimentica in 2015. The production features additional choreography and lighting design added by Marega Palser AKA Mrs Clark.

(F.E.A.R.) will be performed at Chapter, Cardiff from February 21 – 25. There will also be performances at Newport Riverfront from March 22-24 and Abergavenny Borough Theatre on April 7.
