STAFF at West Midland Safari Park have a fun-filled summer planned, with the annual Summer Nights event and the opening of a new children’s play area.

Opening on July 22 is Giggly Park, an exciting, multi-sensory and themed play area. Children will be able to find CBeebies and S4C favourite ‘Boj’ and his friends whilst they explore and play in the interactive, different zones, designed specifically for younger visitors.

Immersive and multi-sensory, the area is centred around Boj’s values such as up-cycling, the environment and creative play. The zones include ‘Denzil’s Music Mayhem,' where children can explore their inner rockstar with congas, free chimes, tubular bells, babel drums and more. Children can also explore the sensory trail named Mia’s Ladybird Spot, which has dens to hide in, logs to scramble across, interactive puzzles, Mr Cloppity’s shed and plenty of wildlife to spot.

The park’s annual Summer Nights event will start on July 29, which features extended opening hours for the summer holidays, from 9am-9pm daily. This gives guests the fantastic opportunity to experience the safari in the evening, with a chance to see the amazing animals in a completely different light!

West Midland Safari Park is open for its summer season and the standard admission charge is £23 for adults, £18 for children aged 3-15 and £21 for concessions. Under 3s are free. Admission includes a voucher for a return visit or safari gift. Adventure Theme Park rides are charged extra.

Further information and tickets are available from the park’s website wmsp.co.uk or by telephone 01299 402114. You can find out more on the Safari Park’s official Facebook page: facebook.com/WestMidSafari.
