MESSAGES of goodwill have been flooding in for family and loved ones as part of an annual charity appeal.

Newport’s Tree of Light is raising money for good causes by allowing people to share messages of goodwill with a special coupon.

Some of those messages are featured in today's magazine, on pages 18, 19 and 24.

The golden tree is located in Friars Walk and it aims to raise money for the Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society, the Carers Trust South East Wales, The Sanctuary Project and homelessness charity, The Wallich.

The Newport and Uskmouth Rotary Satellite Club first launched the tree in 2015 and it offers the opportunity to remember loved ones or send messages of good will.

Messages or dedications can be made by completing a form online or completing this slip which can be returned to us at our offices on Cardiff Road in Newport with your donation.

Others locations where you can drop off your slip and donation are Newport, Kingston Newell on Bridge Street, Tovey Bros on Cardiff Road and Magor Printing at Magor Square.
