THE highly regarded north London quintet Cajun Dance Party are playing in south Wales in a fortnight’s time as part of a 13-date UK tour.
They are at Cardiff’s The Point on Monday, October 6, for a tour which follows the release of the band’s critically acclaimed debut album The Colourful Life which was out in April.
They have received great press with The Observer writing, "Cajun, unquestionably, are the real deal", while NME said of their album, "One of the most anticipated debuts of the year. Their energy and ambition is frightening".
After finally finishing their A-levels, the band headed straight back into the studio in July to start work on a brand new album, due for release in early 2009.
Cajun Dance Party also played a whole host of major festival appearances including T In The Park, Oxygen, the Reading & Leeds Festivals and Japan’s Summer Sonic.
Tickets are on sale now priced £9 and available from the usual outlets. All shows are age 14+.
