NEW State Radio, a four-piece political rock band from Newport, are playing at Newport’s Le Pub tonight.
Original members Richie Whittaker (vocals/guitar), Adam Brustad (drums) and James Sadler (bass) have recently been joined by Simon Strickland on guitar.
Having collaborated with the Manics- connected poet Patrick Jones, they have a new record and a tour planned for the end of the year.
They will be joined by Loci, Sweden’s The Auto Dropouts and Newport indie-rockers Lil Deaths.
Doors open at 8pm with tickets £3 in advance and £5 on the door.
They are available from Diverse, Rockaway, In Exile, and www.wegottickets.com
