DAN REED is probably best known as the lead singer of American funk/rock band The Dan Reed network. They released three very successful albums between 1988 and 1992.
The band opened for such bands as RUN DMC, UB40, David Bowie and Bon Jovi, eventually becoming the supporting act for the Rolling Stones’ 1991 Urban Jungle European tour. Dan moved on to other things, but was inspired to start composing songs again after an extended stay in Dharamsala, India in 2005. Since then he has released a solo album entitled Coming Up For Air and has been busy performing, both solo and with a full band all over Europe and the USA.
Dan’s hallmark is his soulful voice and thoughtful lyrics, which many say reach right into the listener’s heart.
