John Denver tribute show heads for Cwmbran

Wayne Denton will play John Denver's greatest hits
THERE’S a tribute show paying homage to John Denver at Cwmbran’s Congress Theatre this month.
Country Roads takes the audience on a journey through the great American singer’s popular hits such as Annie’s Song, Leaving on a Jet Plane, Rocky Mountain High and the show’s title track Take Me Home, Country Roads.
Throughout his career Denver racked up an impressive 41 albums and two Grammy Awards.
Denver’s most memorable hits will be performed by Wayne Denton, backed up by a live band consisting of Jaime Lovett and Phil Walker.
The show is in town on Saturday, June 23.
