Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have shared some pictures from their wedding.

The photos, which are published in Hello! and People magazines, show the Oscar-winning actress looking stunning in a white antique lace and silk gown by Luigi Massi of Atelier Versace, with the veil decorated with artwork by the couple's children - 13-year-old Maddox, ten-year-old Pax, Zahara, nine, Shiloh, eight, and six-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.

The pair tied the knot in a low-key ceremony - apparently attended by just 20 friends and family members - at their home in France, Chateau Miraval, on August 23.

"It was important to us that the day was relaxed and full of laughter," the couple said.

"It was such a special day to share with our children and a very happy time for our family," they added.

Each child had a role to play on their special day - e ldest sons Maddox and Pax walked their mum down the aisle, Zahara and Vivienne were the flower girls and Shiloh and Knox served as ring bearers. The kids also helped write their parents' vows, and Pax baked the cake.

Luigi, the master tailor at Atelier Versace, sewed designs from the children into the dress and veil.

"Luigi is like family to me and I couldn't imagine anyone else making this dress," Angelina, 39, revealed. "He knows and cares for the children and it was great fun putting it together."

The A-listers, who met on the set of 2005 action-comedy Mr And Mrs Smith, finally tied the knot after months of rumours about their nuptials.
