S Club 7 have revealed that when they hit the road next year they will be joined by some new S Club juniors – in the form of their children.

Rachel Stevens, Jo O’Meara, Hannah Spearritt, Tina Barrett, Paul Cattermole, Jon Lee and Bradley McIntosh announced dates for their comeback arena tour, which will start in May 2015.

Rachel, who is mother to four-year-old Amelie and seven-month-old Minnie, said: “We’re going to have a few kiddies running around this time.

“My Amelie, she knows all the words to Bring It All Back now, I mean, unbelievable! And she knows all the moves, she’s like our biggest fan. So she’ll be there.”

Jo, who has a six-year-old son, Lenny, said: “I’m sure my little boy will be around somewhere, driving you all mad.”

S Club 7 – who reunited to perform a greatest hits medley on Children In Need on Friday night – split in 2003 after five years together, during which they released 10 top three singles, including four number ones, as well as starring in their own TV series and movie.

They will tour the UK throughout May next year, visiting cities including Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Cardiff, London and Glasgow.

Paul, 37, left the pop group in 2002, saying he wanted to move on and explore his “rock roots”.

Today he said: “I miss working with these guys so much. It’s great to be together again, not just working together, but just hanging out and sharing the stage together.”

Jo said: “It feels right now we’ve got our Paul back.”

The band admitted they have not yet decided if they will be performing any of their solo material on the tour, but can’t wait to reel out their number one hits, in particular Don’t Stop Movin’ and Reach.

Jon said: “It’s really different. Obviously we’re a lot older. And back then there wasn’t tweeting and hashtagging and LOLing, so the industry is very different, the world is very different.”

Rachel added: “I think this is just a big celebration of what we had. We’re all proud of what we achieved back in the day and it’s so great to be back together.

“I think there’s so much nostalgia out there and it’s a good time to say a massive thank you for all the support we’ve had from our fans.

“It’s just about having fun. I can’t wait to get back on stage, tour again and just have a brilliant time.”

Tickets go on sale on Thursday November 20 at 9am.
