Mel C has confessed she does regret some of her 11 tattoos and would like to get them removed.

The 38-year-old Spice Girl - now mum to three-year-old daughter Scarlet - had her tattoos digitally removed for a recent photoshoot for Good Housekeeping magazine and admitted she preferred the way she looked.

Mel said: "I'd definitely discourage Scarlet from having tattoos. I'm looking into getting some of them removed.

"I think it was a great idea to get rid of them for the magazine photos - I wish you could do it permanently."

The singer's tattoos include a cross on her left arm and a tribal design around the top of her right arm, as well as a colourful dragon on her right shin.

But Mel said her main regret about her past was that she hadn't been more carefree when she was with the Spice Girls in the 90s.

Mel said: "Of course I have regrets, I wish I could've been more carefree in those days - being so young and experiencing something so incredible.

"Our friendship has got better with age. We've shared something so unique that if any of us needed one of the others, we'd be there."
