One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson has found himself on the wrong side of the law – but fans needn’t worry, because it was all for a new music video.
The One Direction singer was handcuffed by a policeman before being sat in the back of a cop car while filming the boyband’s latest video in London’s Hyde Park, reported The Sun.
Wearing a beige trench coat and blue suit, Louis was an arresting sight for the crowds who gathered to watch the proceedings, while his bandmate Zayn Malik sat in the passenger seat.
The scenes, which showed the 22-year-old singer being stopped for speeding in a silver sports car before coming to blows with a police officer and grabbing his hat, are rumoured to be for Night Changes, from the group’s forthcoming album Four.
Louis made light of his law-breaking jaunt in his latest tweet.
The group’s Twitter fans couldn’t resist standing up for them.
Four will be released on November 17.
