Mermaid Quay hosts Festival of Street Dance

THIS half-term, there will be a Festival of Street Dance at Mermaid Quay on the Cardiff waterfront.

From Saturday June 2 to Sunday June 10, South Wales’ top street dances will be out in force at the Festival Street Dance.

From noon-4pm each day, there’ll be performances and dance workshops from ‘Elemental Force’– the number one street dance organisation and youth development group in South Wales.

There will also be great entertainment and fun for the family including the Mermaid Quay Treasure Hunt on June 9 and 10, balloon giveaways, free face-painting and special appearances throughout the week from Peppa Pig, Children in Need’s Pudsey Bear and characters from In the Night Garden.
