Free family events scheduled for Newport Festival's Big Splash

The Big Splash festival takes place in Newport in July
THE Riverfront is set to be one of the seven fun zones in this year’s Big Splash event (July 13-16) and will see free family theatre (Beauty and the Beast), a free animation film (Jerry the Tyke) and free film showings of The Muppets, and a selection of free drop-in workshops throughout the weekend.
There will be taster sessions in Older Adults Dance, Little Uns Dance and Circus Skills and performances by The Riverfront Youth Theatre and youth dance group NUxclusive in and around the venue.
The fun zones will be: Admiral Soundwave Stage; Riverfront Free House; Urban Edge; Square Tastic; Fun of the Fair; Ultimate Usk, and; Parklife.There will be live music, BMX displays, street entertainers, a Sunset Spectacular and more.
