South Wales has long had a vibrant music community which has inspired and delighted many generations.

The South Wales Music Collective is a non-profit community organisation dedicated to resurrecting the local music scene and putting a spotlight on the local area. With this in mind, we provide acts with regular gigs and exposure that they fully deserve.

Over the next few months the “MC” will be putting on some of the best up-and-coming live acts in venues around South Wales.

The kick-off will be the “Rock Olympics” held at six feet under in Newport and co-hosted by Newport City Radio.

This event will showcase some of the finest talent in the area including acts such as Blue Gillespie, Enemy Agenda, Clipper, The Motive, The Venture, Geraint Rhys, Bettie J, Thousand Fingers, Simple As! and many more.

There will even be free popcorn for all! The event will take place from 2pm until midnight on July 22.
