Abertillery Blues Rock Festival is back for its eighth year this weekend and organisers are pulling out all the stops to put together the best line-up to date.

The festival, which kicks off today, is headed by American sensation Vintage Trouble and 1960s English rock band The Zombies.

Vintage Trouble have had off-the-scale success and have become one of the most talked-about bands in the music industry. They have supported Bon Jovi and Lenny Kravitz, headlined in venues across the globe, featured in countless radio shows and made many TV appearances such as Later… With Jools Holland.

Vintage Trouble brings an original twist to the blues/rock music; their music is infectious and will guarantee to have you up on your feet dancing. It’ll sure be a night to remember. The Zombies are known for their hits of the late 1960s, such as She’s Not There, Time of the Season and Tell Her No.

They are sure to be a fitting end to an amazing weekend of live music.

The array of British and international talent over the weekend also includes Jon Amor Blues Group, Dani Wilde, Virgil and the Accelerators, Dave Arcari, Devils Creek, J Alexander and the Blues Devils, Steve Roux and the Brass Knuckle Blues Band and Panic Station.
