THE five-piece acoustic group Allan yn y Fan bring their brand of traditional Welsh music to Abergavenny's Borough Theatre tomorrow night.
Allan yn y Fan comprises Gilwern's own Chris Jones, who plays accordion, flute, low D whistle and keyboards.
Joining the group as their special guest is the acclaimed singer-songwriter and former Welsh Woman of the Year finalist, Cheryl Beer.
Allan yn y Fan have released two critically acclaimed albums, Off The Map 2003 and Belonging in 2006.
Later this year they will return to Dylan Fowler's Abergavenny studio to begin working on their third album. This concert is an opportunity for traditional music fans to get a preview of some of the likely material for this album.
The concert starts at 7.30pm with tickets priced at £8.50 (Valley Roots Members £1 off) available from the Borough Theatre box office on 01873 850805.
