EDINBURGH Fringe favourites The Wilders - the hillbilly hurricane from Kansas City, Missouri - return to the UK this summer for main stage festival appearances and their long-awaited debut in Wales.
The four-piece have thrilled capacity crowds in the Scottish capital for three consecutive years, winning five-star reviews along the way.
The Scotsman said of them: "The fantastic Wilders in full flight generate the kind of tunes that should by rights leave vapour trails."
Last year, they headlined the big Southern Fried Americana festival in Perth and flew back over the Atlantic once more to top the bill at Belfast’s Open House Festival.
The Wilders play three gigs in Wales, the last of which is on Tuesday, July 21 at Abergavenny’s Borough Theatre, Tickets are (£12/£10) available on 1873 850805.
