WELL loved and award-winning musical Chicago comes to Cardiff Bay’s Wales Millennium Centre next month.
Based on real life events back in the roaring 1920s, nightclub singer Roxie Hart shoots her lover and along with her rival, double-murderess Velma Kelly, they fight to keep away from death row with the help of smooth talking lawyer Billy Flynn.
Created by the musical theatre talents of John Kander, Fred Ebb and legendary choreographer Bob Fosse, Chicago’s sexy score includes All That Jazz and Razzle Dazzle.
With six Tony, two Olivier, a Grammy, two Bafta and six Academy Awards to its name, Chicago is a firm favourite with both critics and audiences alike.
It runs between July 9 and 14. Tickets cost between £11 and £37.50.
