I was very impressed by the artwork created by Newport based artist Jon Prothero.
Many people attended the opening evening on Saturday the 2nd April, discussing amongst themselves their understanding of ‘Omni Dimensionalism’ a phrase coined by the artist to describe his own fusion of abstract techniques employed to create his artwork.
Most had a rare chance to meet the artist to discuss his inspirations and imaginatively titled creations.
One art enthusiast had travelled nearly four hours to view Jon’s work. I feel saddened that there has been little coverage of this event.
The exhibition is open until the 28th April at ‘The Riverfront Theatre and Arts Centre’, Newport. An exhibition that should not be missed.
