I have been a police officer for 23 years and a sergeant for 13 years. I started my career in The Metropolitan Police Service serving in Chelsea and Streatham before transferring to Gwent in 1994. I have experience in all front line policing fields as well as spending time as a police Training Sergeant , Custody Sergeant and Temporary Inspector at Tredegar. I have spent the majority of my service in the Rhymney Valley since my promotion. I was proud to develop the first training package for CSO's in Gwent in 2003, (the first in Wales) and trained many of the first officers.

I have worked for Gwent Police since 2000 and in this time I have worked in the Caerphilly Local Policing Unit, covering Risca, Ystrad Mynach and Blackwood areas. I have experience working with CID and Response Policing and have also worked as a temporary Sergeant.

Hi, I am PC Stuart Lewis and I am the Crime and Disorder Reduction Officer for Caerphilly and Bedwas. I joined Gwent Police in 2001 and my previous role was as a Neighbourhood officer for the Bedwas, Trethomas and Machen ward.

I joined Gwent Police in 2012, and prior to this I worked for an insurance company where I held a variety of roles, ranging from health and safety coordinator, to quality control assistant.
