Personal Overview - Follows his father into the Commons after a four-year gap (Sir Jerry Wiggin, MP for Weston-Super-Mare 1969-1997), former Agriculture Select Committee chairman and Minister (1979-83). Following Eton he took an untypical path to Bangor reading Economics, but then assumed a more traditional path by going to the City. From a professional background trading (coffee, gold bullion, and lately currency) he has no experience of elected office prior to taking up his parliamentary employment. One of the dwindling band of Old Etonians, even on the Tory benches, he is an active sportsman, and enjoys public speaking. His party will be hoping for a more loyal showing than was given by former Leominster MP Peter Temple-Morris, who crossed to Labour in the first term of the Blair Government.

Personal Overview - An experienced political campaigner who entered the European Parliament in December 2011 after an additional UK seat had been created following the Lisbon Treaty. She had previously stood for election to the European Parliament in 2009 She has a successful business background and has managed large international projects for large companies such as IBM, 3M and GEC in the UK and Europe. Was notable as being the youngest County Councillor in England in 1977 when elected to Hereford and Worcester County Council. She has also been an Ambassador for the Federation of Small Business Real Life Entrepreneur Campaign and is a former FSB County Secretary.
