Police hunt pervert in Liverpool top

POLICE in Cwmbran are hunting a pervert wearing a Liverpool football kit who exposed himself to three teenage girls.

The man struck twice on Wednesday in two separate areas of the town.

The first incident happened on Upper Cwmbran Road at around 11.20am when a man driving a navy blue coloured Vauxhall people carrier pulled over and spoke to a girl aged under 16.

He made an obscene comment and then exposed himself to the terrified girl before driving off.

The man is described as aged between 30 and 40, around 6 feet tall, with a slight tan, and was wearing a red Liverpool football top.

The second incident took place at around 9pm on Penylan Road, Coed Eva, when a man matching the description and driving the same type of vehicle pulled over and spoke to two girls aged under 16.

He again made an obscene comment and then exposed himself to the girls before driving off.

PC Darrell Dewar, crime and disorder reduction officer for Cwmbran police, appealed for witnesses to come forward.

He said: "We don't want people to panic, but we would ask parents to warn their children about this man, to make sure they know where there children are at all times and to remind them not to approach or speak to strangers."

Anyone with information can call PC Dewar on 01633 642054 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
